A weekly study group where adult students join in reading, analysis, and interpretation of Torah using traditional commentaries. Facilitated by Rabbi Weiner, this class is meant for beginners and more experienced students. Advance registration (and book purchase) is helpful, but it’s ok to drop in whenever you’re available to learn. Current topic: Jacob’s Journey (Parashat Vayetze) -

JunJune 8 , 2025Jacob's Torah: A Dramatic Reading

"Jacob's Torah" is a dramatic reading of how a 600-year-old Torah was rescued the night before Kristallnacht, how it journeyed to the U.S. and was dedicated 50 years later for the use of students at a Hebrew Day School. Written by the late Jesse Waldinger, the play was inspired by a family story of Berkshire County resident (and KI member), Phil Halpern. Co-sponsored with Temple Anshe Amunim. Proceeds will benefit the joint KI-TAA Hebrew school. Refreshments will be served. -
