Friday, October 22, 2021 • 16 Cheshvan 5782
5:30 PM - 8:30 PMKnesset IsraelJoin friends at Knesset Israel for an energizing, musical Friday evening service, then stay for a delicious kosher shabbat dinner.
With the intensity of the pandemic waning right now in the Berkshires, we are very excited to be in a position where we can contemplate sharing a communal shabbat meal. Some people are ready to do this, and others are not. That is absolutely OK. More information is below, but, if you have questions, please contact the synagogue office.
DETAILS about this event:
- Seating in north half of the sanctuary will be open; seating in the south half socially distanced. Some chairs will be available in the social hall, with the sliding doors open for maximum ventilation.
- Attendance is limited for dinner to reduce crowding in the social hall. First-come, first-served.
- Maximum 4 people or one household per table
- The meal will be a served (rather than self-serve) buffet dinner, prepared by Chris Goetze.
- All attendees (age 12+) must be vaccinated (honor system).
- Masks are required for everyone, except while leading the service or eating.
- Menu will be chicken, beef or fish-based, with a vegetarian alternative for those who opt for it. Kosher chicken is in short supply in the US right now.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
