Shabbat at Home

We are excited to begin a new Shabbat At Home program at KI, which premieres on Friday night, October 17. Here you will share a shabbat evening meal with a Knesset Israel member. Meet new KI friends and celebrate Shabbat with good conversation and good food.

Please register here and be sure to indicate whether you are registering as a host or as a guest. As a HOST, you will welcome a few people into your home and prepare a dinner for all to share. As a GUEST, you will attend dinner at someone else's house in the company of others from KI.

Some prospective hosts keep kosher homes; those who do not have promised to serve a fish or vegetarian meal. Guests with a strong preference may opt to visit the home of a host who keeps a kosher kitchen.
