Ramblin' with the Rav - Arches - RAIN DATE
Sunday, September 3, 2023 • 17 Elul 5783
10:00 AM - 1:00 PMMeet at KI at 10 or the trailhead at 10:35Join our rabbi for a morning of enjoying our beautiful neighborhood - exercise, a beautiful view, good company, a bit of Torah, and fantastic conversation on the trail.
**Due to a stormy forecast for the original date, the hike has been rescheduled for September 3.**
Come on your own or bring sure-footed children & grandchildren for an easy hike along a scenic section of the Westfield River that is crossed by several early 20th century keystone arch bridges.
At the midpoint of the hike (see picture... if you want that view, you have to get wet!), pause for a rest on one of those bridges, or scramble down the side to a swimming hole under the bridge. Dogs on leash are welcome.
The specs: easy, 3+ miles, <300’ altitude, option to scramble & swim, 1.5 hours of walking, plus 35 minutes drive each way, plus time for wading.
We'll meet at KI at 10 a.m. (note time change) and carpool to the trailhead.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
