Every year on Tu BiSh'vat we celebrate the birthday of the trees, by planting, by eating fruits, and by remembering our place as humans within the natural world. This year we'll celebrate with a very special program, and a very tasty dinner. Starting at 5:15 the kids will have a chance to learn about composting from one of our foremost local experts, Mary Summers, founder of Tommy's Compost Service. We strongly encourage parents to come for the program also. Mary is awesome -and you will learn a lot from her, including how easy composting can be. At 6:15pm we'll all sit down for a nice dinner together. Families Together programs are all generously supported by the Grinspoon Foundation.
