Sunday, June 30 - Flag Rock, Housatonic

Easy/moderate, 3.9 miles, 797’, 1.5-2 hours

On the less-visited side of Monument Mountain Reserve, this slowly climbing trail passes through a beautiful forest and unusual boulders on its way to an extraordinary view of the village of Housatonic and its environs from, you guessed it, a rock that has a flag flying above it. Leashed dogs are welcome.
